Dr Bridget Oakley

BMed, MD, DCH, FRACGP

Dr Oakley has been consulting from Doctors on Darling since 2019. She completed her medical degree at UNSW before training at Wollongong Hospital. Dr Oakley has achieved fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners through training at practices on the NSW south coast. She has additional clinical experience in drug and alcohol medicine, paediatrics, and mental health. She has completed the Diploma of Child Health and is currently completing the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health. Dr Oakley has an interest in women’s health (contraceptive counselling, Implanon insertion and removal, cervical screening) and participates in the antenatal shared care program at RPA Hospital. Dr Oakley is also able to care for those living with chronic diseases, and actively encourages healthy lifestyle and preventative health measures. She looks forward to meeting new patients and working with them to achieve their health goals. When not at work Dr Oakley enjoys running, looking after her garden and reading a good novel.
